HMS receives SEK 2,5m order from Japan

HMS Networks AB (publ) has received two orders for network communication cards
from one of the major Japaneese manufacturer of frequency converters. The order
value amounts to  SEK 2,5 m and will be delivered during 2010.

" One of the orders is a volume order for communication cards based on the
Profibus protocol and represents an established design win in production during
the last ten-year period. To receive this volume order for several thousand
units confirms the long product life cycle established with our customers within
industrial automation. This order also confirms the recovery in the Japanese
market we have noticed for some time", says Christian Bergdahl, HMS Area Sales
Manager Asia

The second order, received from the same customer, is for an adaption to the
customers latest product generation. HMS technology will be used in the
customers future solution for Industrial Ethernet. This order is only for the
customization of the HMS technology to fit the customer's product. Purchase
orders for these products will come at a later stage.

" During the first quarter HMS initiated a strategic development project with
this Japanese manufacturer of frequency converters. The customer will use our
NP30 technology for communication in their two latest product lines. We have
already started this development project and these newly developed products will
start to ship already within the next six months", says Staffan Dahlström, CEO
