ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) - Transcepta™ announced today it has teamed with Oracle to provide Oracle customers with pre-configured access to Transcepta's unique e-invoicing and supplier enablement services. Oracle® E-Business Suite and Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise customers can now automatically leverage Transcepta's supplier on-boarding service and supplier connections to deliver a comprehensive e-invoicing solution. The Transcepta service helps maximize both supplier participation and the volume of invoices being received electronically into Oracle's accounts payable applications.
Without Transcepta, the effort of enrollment and on-boarding of suppliers is traditionally carried out by each buying organization. Now, Oracle customers have a pre-configured interface to Transcepta's turn-key on-boarding service to out-source this entire effort and connect thousands of suppliers for electronic invoicing.
Oracle chose Transcepta for its strength in maximizing supplier adoption. The Transcepta solution enables suppliers to choose from a number of electronic connection options that enable suppliers of all sizes and invoice volumes to migrate to electronic delivery using their existing billing system. Suppliers are not required to make any changes to their existing invoice format and are never forced to manually enter invoice data into a web portal. Transcepta connects each supplier within one business day. In addition, the Transcepta service will also set up each connected supplier with access to the buying organization's Oracle supplier portal application, increasing the value Oracle customers derive from their Oracle investment.
"Transcepta's ability to on-board thousands of trading partners within a few months helps to maximize the value of Oracle applications for customers looking to eliminate paper," said Nagaraj Srinivasan, vice president, Oracle Supply Chain and Procurement Applications Development. "This offering delivers on customers' needs for solutions that align the long-term interests of procurement and finance departments, with those of suppliers."
"We believe the right place to do the workflow and matching functions is inside the core ERP system," says Ray Parsons, Transcepta's CEO. "Oracle is an industry leader, with an install-base looking for automated connectivity with trading partners. The fact that we can directly integrate our services into the Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise makes the solution very clean and immediately useful to a large portion of Oracle's customers."
Existing members of Transcepta's Electronic Invoicing Community can immediately realize the benefit of this relationship without additional technical requirements, resulting in a rapid reduction in paper for Oracle and Transcepta connected trading partners.

About Transcepta
Transcepta was founded in 2005 with the goal of eliminating paper invoices and making electronic invoicing a reality for Accounts Payable departments across the globe. The company believes that the critical success factor for electronic invoicing is supplier participation. Transcepta is differentiated from other offerings by providing an attractive solution to suppliers and a managed service to recruit and connect those suppliers. Transcepta is the only electronic invoicing solution that removes the long standing barriers (cost, time and complexity) to supplier adoption.
While offering robust functionality and flexible integration to Accounts Payable departments, Transcepta enables suppliers to submit invoices with their existing billing system and process. Suppliers do not pay setup or any other upfront fees and implementation takes only five minutes of a supplier's time. IT support is not required for supplier implementation and invoice submission is automated (i.e. not manually typing invoices into a web portal). Thousands of companies have joined the Transcepta Community to lower costs, improve efficiency and strengthen trading relationships.
