City National Names Patrick Donnelly as Vice President and Business Development Officer, SBA Lending for Northern California


SAN FRANCISCO, April 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, California's Premier Private and Business Bank®, has appointed Patrick Donnelly as vice president and SBA (Small Business Administration) business development officer for Northern California.

Donnelly is responsible for SBA loan sales and marketing efforts focusing on small and mid-sized businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley-San Jose region.

City National's SBA loan offerings include 504 loans for industrial or commercial building purchases; 7(a) and SBA Express loans for capital and lines of credit; and the Patriot Express program for veterans and active duty military and their spouses.

Before joining City National, Donnelly held similar responsibilities with Wells Fargo Bank in Roseville, Calif. He also served as vice president and senior sales manager with GE Capital Small Business Finance. Earlier in his career, he held sales and marketing positions with Genstar Container and Transamerica Leasing.

A resident of Folsom, Calif., Donnelly earned a bachelor's degree in applied economics from the University of San Francisco.
