Sage North America Chief Customer Officer to Discuss 'Customer Experience' at the 2010 ITA Spring Members Meeting


ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - April 26, 2010) -  Sage North America today announced that Doug Meyer, chief customer officer, will present an education session on the value of great customer experiences at the 2010 Information Technology Alliance (ITA) Spring Members Meeting, being held this week at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta.

Meyer will present "Winning in the Market with Superior Customer Experience" tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27. The interactive session will focus in on the important role that the customer's experience plays in the success of any business. Attendees will collaborate on exploring and defining customer experience; clarifying how people and processes play a role in that experience; identifying key moments of truth with customers and clients; and recognizing the true value of customer loyalty.

As chief customer officer, Meyer is responsible for driving Sage's strategies around engaging with customers, especially those focused on enhancing the customer experience. He has extensive and varied experience working with small and midsized businesses, accountants, and channel partners. He was previously president of Sage's Industry & Specialized Solutions and Small Business divisions.

Meyer currently serves on the boards of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and Gwinnett Technical College. He holds an MBA degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Central Florida.
