This award is part of GSC Logistics' total commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction, which is designed to identify, implement, and measure performance standards throughout all elements comprising "end to end" supply chain services to Target's distribution centers and stores across the country.
Target Corporation selected GSC to receive its annual deconsolidator award based on GSC's 99.8 percent performance level, which covered approximately 12 evaluation categories such as level of service, outbound load quality and reporting, electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities, and claims.
Target Corporation representatives Terry Cox, manager, Import Supply Chain, and Andrea Azcarate, supervisor, US Operations International Transportation, presented the award to GSC on April 7, 2010 at the company's annual deconsolidator conference held in Minneapolis.
