On AS “PrivatBank” share capital increase and Electing the Council of AS "PrivatBank"

On the special AS "PrivatBank" shareholders' meeting of as 26.04.2010, it was
decided to continue issuing new shares (increasing the fixed capital)  and the
Council of AS "PrivatBank" was elected: Yuriy Pikush, Viktor Samarin, Timur
Novikov, Yuriy Kandaurov, Vasilijs Melniks who will start to carry out their
duties on May 17, 2010.
The fixed capital of the Bank is increased to LVL 40,470,000.

New member of the Council of AS "PrivatBank" Vasilijs Melniks:
2010 - present: Freelance Counselor of the President of Latvia for Cooperation
with Enterpreneurs 
2010 - present: Board Chairman of SIA „Baltijas Marka” - organizes the work of
the Board 
2009 - present: Board Chairman of SIA „EiroBelTransit” - organizes the work of
the Board 
2009 - present: Board Member of SIA „North Hub Fuel” - controls the financial
state of the corporation 
2009 - present: Board Chairman of SIA “Dubultu jahtu centrs” - organizes the
work of the corporation 
2008 - present: Board Chairman of SIA „Chrisal Baltia” - organizes the work of
the corporation 
2007 - present: Chairman of the Latvian-Russian Cooperation Council - together
with the co-chairman organizes and leads the work of the Council, represents
the interests of Latvia in a wide range of issues. 
2007 - present: Board Member of SIA „Graphical Paper” - the only member of the
Board, organizes the work of the corporation 
2007 - present: Board Chairman of SIA „Biznesa Centrs Zaķusala” - organizes the
work of the board, issues related to construction (projecting) 
2007 - present: Board Member of SIA „Kļavu centrs” - organizes the work of the
board and the corporation in the economic and financial issues 
2007 - present: Board Chairman of the SIA "Eiroāzija" - organizes the work of
board 
2006 - 2009: Counsellor of the President of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia
in economic and transit issues 

The new member of the Council of the Bank Vasilijs Melniks does not hold any
shares in AS "PrivatBank".
