Gateway Rescue Mission Celebrates the Grand Opening of Its New Life Center


JACKSON, Miss., April 28, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Friday, April 30, 2010, Gateway Rescue Mission will officially open the doors to its New Life Center in Mendenhall, Mississippi. The Center will provide shelter services for up to 52 men, three meals per day, daily chapel, education, social, and financial services. 

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and BankPlus awarded Gateway Rescue Mission a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant in 2008 for the construction of the facility. 

U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper will be the guest speaker at the event, and representatives from FHLB Dallas, BankPlus, and Gateway Rescue Mission will attend.
