Closing concerning Dantherm's divestment of its Filtration activities to Nederman Holding AB has been completed as planned. As announced earlier, the transfer comprises the consolidated enterprise Dantherm Filtration Holding A/S with subsidiaries except for the French subsidiary Dantherm Filtration SAS. In 2009, the divested activities posted revenue of DKK 731.4m (EUR 98.2m) and the average number of employees was 908, cf. company announcement no. 2/2010 of 26 March 2010. The sales price of Dantherm Filtration Holding A/S on a debt-free basis is DKK 280m. From the divestment, Dantherm A/S realises proceeds in 2010 in the range of DKK 10-20m. The divestment of the Filtration activities is an element in Dantherm's business strategy for 2010 onwards, which focuses on realising the growth potential of the continuing activities, which comprise two business areas, heat management systems for the telecom industry and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning). The main elements in the strategy are: • increasing the group's market share within heat management systems for global network suppliers within the telecom industry • boosting sales efforts within heat management systems for local network operators within the telecom sector in Europe, the USA and Asia • increasing market share within selected HVAC segments in Europe • optimising the value chain (supply chain) within both business areas As announced earlier, the Dantherm group expects to realise revenue in 2010 of approx. DKK 500m and an operating profit (EBIT) based on a slightly growing market. The divestment of the Filtration activities has already been incorporated into this outlook.
