Finnair to reopen route to Stuttgart in August

In August, Finnair will reopen the flight route from Helsinki to Stuttgart, the
capital of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Finnair will operate the
route with ten flights per week from 16 August.

Morning flights from Helsinki to Stuttgart will depart on Mondays, Fridays and
Saturdays at 07.45 and evening flights every day at around 17.00. The flights
from Stuttgart to Helsinki will depart in the morning every day at 12.05 and in
the evening on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at around 19.00. The flights will
be operated with a Finnair flight number by Finncomm Airlines using a 76-seat
Embraer 170 jet aircraft.

The new service will connect well with Finnair's domestic routes. For residents
of the Stuttgart area, the route offers, as well as a fast link to Finland,
efficient onward connections to all of Finnair's Far-Eastern destinations.

In addition to the 11 million inhabitants of the state of Baden-Württemberg,
Stuttgart Airport also serves the economic areas of northern Switzerland and
eastern France. In addition to Stuttgart, important cities of the area include
Baden Baden, Freiburg, Heilbronn, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg and Ulm.
For the traveller, Stuttgart is excellent base for visits to the Black Forest
and the Rhine Valley and even for holiday trips to the Alps.
