American Commercial Lines Inc. Announces New 3-Year Agreement for Jeffboat Employees and Teamsters Local 89

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN--(Marketwire - May 3, 2010) -   American Commercial Lines Inc. (NASDAQ: ACLI) ("ACL" or the "Company") announced that it has secured a 3-year agreement with the General Drivers, Warehousemen & Helpers (Teamsters), Local Union No. 89 for employees of its manufacturing division Jeffboat. The agreement, which was ratified by more than 86 percent of the voters, helps to position the shipyard for future growth.
