QED Connect Acquisition Target Announces Co-production With "Donnie Brasco" Producer

MANCHESTER, N.H., May 25, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- QED Connect, Inc. ("QED Connect") (Pink Sheets:QEDN), announced today that its acquisition target, Nazz Productions Inc. ("Nazz"), has entered into a co-production agreement with producers Lou DiGiaimo ("Donnie Brasco", "Dinner Rush", "An Everlasting Piece") and Lou DiGiaimo Jr. ("Good Day For It", "The 24th Day", "An Everlasting Piece") to develop and produce the screenplay "Bulls Night Out". The screenplay, written by Lindley Farley, will be re-written for the movie by Nazz president, Nick Stagliano and has a budget range of $5 to $10 million.

Mr. DiGiaimo's production credits read like a who's who of top films, directors and actors, including four Oscar winners. Most recently he produced "Dinner Rush", starring Danny Aiello; "Donnie Brasco", starring Al Pacino and Johnny Depp; "An Everlasting Piece", directed by Oscar winning director Barry Levinson and the television series "Falcone" for CBS.

As Casting Director his credits include: "Hannibal", "Gladiator", "Sleepers", "The Juror", "White Squall", "Blue Chips", "Thelma & Louise", "1492", "Rain Man", "Good Morning Vietnam", "Tin Men", "29th Street", "The Package", "52 Pick-Up", "The French Connection" and "The Godfather". He won an Emmy for his casting of the critically acclaimed television series "Homicide: Life on the Streets".

"Bulls Night Out" is an exciting action drama about the exploits of four retired New York City cops who, when faced with the harsh reality of crime and the deterioration of their once thriving neighborhood, take matters into their own hands – with deadly results.

The producers are currently working on the rewrite and scouting locations throughout the U. S. and expect principal photography to begin in the next 6 to 9 months.

Nick Stagliano, CEO of Nazz, commented, "I am very excited to continue my relationship with Lou DiGiaimo and his son Lou Jr. As evidenced by their impressive resumes, they are extremely talented and successful as they have worked on some of the greatest American films of the last 25 years."

Lou DiGiaimo Jr. added, "My dad and I are looking forward to working with Nick and his Nazz team again in the near future. Based on our very successful collaboration on his 'Good Day For It', we are confident that 'Bulls Night Out' will have a great shot of being a well produced film on a reasonable budget."

Mr. Makmann, President of QED Connect, added, "Nazz Productions continues to position itself as top producer of independent films and is attaching some of the best talent in the industry." The acquisition of Nazz Productions and the Joint Venture with Sofame are moving forward to be completed as scheduled.
