WESTMONT, IL--(Marketwire - June 3, 2010) - Hipskind Ltd. and Mid American Group, employee benefits brokers and consultants, have merged and consolidated operations in Mid American Group's Westmont office. Hipskind was based in Chicago.

Both companies are employee benefits consultants, brokers and benefit administrators that primarily serve mid-sized employers headquartered in the Chicago area. Mid American also has an extensive national and international footprint. Hipskind is a three-generation family firm founded in 1989; Mid American Group was founded in 1988.
