simulation technology NovaFlow&Solid and Nova Stress.

Olazabal y Huarte SA' (OYH), a privately owned mid-sized Spanish foundry
invests in NovaCast Foundry Solutions' (NCFS) casting simulation
technology NovaFlow & Solid and Nova Stress. The foundry has an annual
capacity of approximately 10 000 tons and since 1954 manufactures grey
and nodular irons. Actually producing heavy ductile iron castings up to
30 tons. Main customer groups are Wind Energy, Mining and Cement
industry, Valves and Pumps and tool & die industry with customers such
as ALSTOM, FLSmidth, KSB and Volvo. The order is worth 45 000 EUR
including a two-year Technology Partner Agreement.

NovaCast Technologies and its subsidiaries NovaCast Foundry Solutions
and Camito have a long tradition of co-operation with OYH. In 2006 OYH
became the first Certified Camito Foundry in Europe. On the production
floor OYH is using NCFS's ATAS metallurgical process control system for
tight process control essential in meeting tough customer requirements.

“At present, OYH is carrying out an investment plan to be able to pour
castings up to a weight of 50 tons in ductile iron and up to a weight
of 15 tons in steel. For this purpose, a third melting unit with a
capacity of 20 tons has recently been acquired. Therefore the company
has decided to invest in simulation software NovaFlow&Solid and Nova
Stress to simulate heavy castings with dimensions up to 7 meters in
diameter. The software from NCFS uses CV, the latest simulation
technology, which will increase the efficiency of the whole
technological process in our foundry”, says Mr. Gurutz Franco Leiza,
Managing Director of Olazabal y Huarte.

Mr. Hans Svensson, CEO of NovaCast Technologies, comments, “We are very
pleased by the trust that OYH has put into our technology. Together with
our customers NovaCast has during the last twenty years realized that
only the most successful foundries in the world are capable of
manufacturing products with the same quality, with continuously
decreasing costs and with the same properties, every day. Our customers'
foundry processes show a repeatable consistency. This is only possible
if the melt quality is predictable, i.e. measurable and can be used as
input into powerful simulation software such as NovaFlow & Solid and
Nova Stress”.

NovaCast Technologies, listed on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Small Cap
lista (NCAS B), develops and markets enhanced castings for the
production of car body parts, as well as software for methoding,
simulating and process control for more efficient production processes
to the global automotive industry and its subcontractors. With the
Camito technology enhanced castings are manufactured in one solid piece
for the production of dies for forming and stamping automotive body
components in a considerably shorter time than traditional dies. Through
die manufacturer SwePart Verktyg the group has expertise within the
whole value chain for the production and sales of stamping dies.
