COPsync Executes Software License Agreements With 6 Additional Law Enforcement Agencies

Law Enforcement Agencies Continue to Recognize Value in the COPsync In-Car Information Sharing Technology

CANYON LAKE, Texas, June 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- COPsync, Inc. (OTCBB:COYN), a software technology provider to law enforcement and emergency service professionals, announces the signing of software license agreements with six additional Law Enforcement Agencies within the State of Texas. Recently, the County of Foard Sheriff's Office, the City of Crowell Police Department, the Cottle Sheriff's Office, City of Paducah Police Department, City of Bartlett Police Department and the Vidor Independent School District Police Department executed contracts for access to the COPsync(TM) real-time information sharing solution. These agencies will gain valuable access to real-time law enforcement information in a mobile environment as well as the ability to share critical information at the point of incident as crimes are reported and investigated.

Upon installation, these agencies will become active members of the COPsync data information-sharing network. Users while on active duty and in the field will be armed with the latest technological advances making them more efficient, better informed and safer. The COPsync software is the first and only integrated software product that provides a real-time in-car, data information-sharing network for all subscribing agencies and its law enforcement officers, regardless of jurisdictional boundaries. Via a laptop computer or hand-held device, the user is able to immediately identify criminals, communicate with other officers, and access life saving and mission critical information. Additionally, the software includes data collection interfaces designed to expedite the paperwork process to allow officers to do their job more efficiently.

"As more agencies throughout the state join our network, the volume of information available will increase accordingly, providing users on the network the information needed to successfully combat crime in their community. The ability to share valuable law enforcement information at the point of contact and in a real-time setting is going to be extremely valuable to these Law Enforcement officers," stated COPsync CEO, Russell Chaney. "Additionally, we feel strongly that once Police Departments are educated about the COPsync software and its benefits, the software becomes an obvious choice for the agency. As each agency comes aboard the network, it becomes more advantageous for the next agency to join and with obstacles such as in-car connectivity becoming a thing of the past, for truly the first time the creation of a nationwide real-time information sharing portal can become a reality, as again our technology shares data information with all subscribing agencies regardless of County or State jurisdictional lines," continue Mr. Chaney.
