WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - July 6, 2010) - HROA today announced details of its annual awards gala and the corresponding global awards process. Designed to be the premier destination for the HRO industry's best and brightest, this year's gala will be held in conjunction with the HRO Summit on October 20, 2010 in Tampa, Fla. The call for entries has now opened for HRO and RPO submissions and online submissions will be accepted until August 31, 2010.
"Each year the HROA proves its excellence in advancing the state and practice of HR Outsourcing through our highly competitive RPO and HRO awards program," stated HROA Chair, LeAnne Andersen. "Our awards culminate at the annual HRO Summit, serving as a valued platform for the recognition of the top innovators, as well as the momentum of the individuals and organizations dedicated to shaping the HR outsourcing industry."
Each year the HROA selects a theme, which is pervasive throughout the criteria for the awards. This year's theme is "Be Energized," honoring individuals and organizations that have exhibited a commitment to invigorating the HRO industry. All nominations are required to show how the awards nominees have demonstrating industry energizing characteristics and practices within the awards year.

- Buyer Executive of the Year
- Provider Executive of the Year
- Customer Relationship of the Year - Large Market
- Customer Relationship of the Year - Mid Market
RPO award categories include:
- RPO Service of the Year
- RPO Innovation of the Year
- RPO Technology of the Year
Nominations are currently open to all new and existing contracts, relationships and/or projects with start dates between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. Anyone can submit a nomination for consideration; however, the winners are selected by an open vote of HRO buyers with membership in the HROA. Nominations are required to include a written form provided by the HROA, which is accessible at www.hroa.org; a high resolution photo for individual nominees; and the nominee's company logo. Nominations should emphasize excellence in service delivery and innovation.
RPO award winners and the North American Trustee awards will be announced at the HRO Summit on October 20, 2010 in Tampa, Fla. The European chapter awards to be presented at HRO Europe held November 16 - November 18, 2010.
