HQ AB Board of Directors will appeal decision of Administrative Court in
Stockholm

With reference to the decision of the Administrative Court in Stockholm,
holding that HQ AB may not instigate proceedings concerning the
revocation of HQ Bank's licenses, the Board of Directors of HQ AB hereby
announces that it will appeal said decision. HQ AB is of the opinion
that the company is directly affected by the decision of the Swedish
Financial Supervisory Authority.
