Telvent DTN's on-site meteorologist team will provide early detection and advance warning of oncoming lightning and other types of high impact weather to ensure player and fan safety at the event. The meteorologist will monitor the evolving weather conditions in real time through Telvent DTN's prediction platform, MxVision WeatherSentry Online®, and provide recommendations based on location specific information for Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. MxVision WeatherSentry Online provides high-precision weather information relative to the specific location in real time to assist golf tournament officials in mitigating the possible risks caused by extreme weather phenomena.
