SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - October 13, 2010) - Today, Mochi Media announced the third annual Flash Gaming Summit, which will be held on February 27th 2011 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. This year's conference brings together leaders in the Flash game space to share industry insights and strategies on successful game design, development and monetization.
Last year's Flash Gaming Summit brought together over 500 attendees with a sold-out conference featuring sessions on game development, design and monetization from leading game developers in the industry. The conference also recognizes and honors the best Flash games created in the past year through "The Mochis Awards Ceremony."
"The online gaming industry is in a stage of rapid growth and evolution," said Jameson Hsu, CEO of Mochi Media. "Even since last year's event, there have been significant shifts in the industry. Social games are now not only being played on Facebook, but outside of the social networks and on mobile devices. There are so many new trends to talk about in the industry and we look forward to diving in and discussing all of them at this year's conference."
Flash Gaming Summit's Advisory Board includes Ted Patrick (Adobe), Chris Harris (Kaiparasoft), Daniel Cook (Spry Fox), Paul Preece (Casual Collective), Peter Hofstede (SPIL Games), Ben Garney (PushButton Labs) and Lars Jörnow (King.com).
Flash Gaming Summit is possible with support from platinum sponsor FlashGameLicence.com. Past years' sponsors include Palm, Adobe, Kongregate, Zynga and RockYou.
