Sauer Energy common stock will begin trading under the new ticker symbol today, Wednesday, at the opening of the market. Previously, SEI had operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of BCO Hydrocarbon, Ltd., whose ticker symbol was BCOZ.
The Company's new name and ticker symbol reflect the Company's sole business is commercialization of its revolutionary wind turbine. Capitalizing on a robust and growing patent portfolio, the Sauer VAWT is designed to be a highly efficient and affordable plug 'n play wind turbine for the home and small business. The name change reinforces the Company's brand and will strengthen its position in the wind energy marketplace.
Shareholders do not need to take any action. Current and legacy stock certificates remain valid, and will be automatically reissued with the new Company name upon their physical transfer or sale.
