AMP Announces Completion of Equity Financing Round


BLUE ASH, Ohio, Oct. 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AMP Holding Inc. (OTCBB:AMPD), a company engaged in the emission-free electrification of OEM vehicles, announced today the completion of a $2.9 million equity financing in a private placement transaction to a group of accredited investors.  

The Company sold 7,256,000 shares of its common stock at $0.40 per share for gross proceeds to the Company of $2.9 million.  John Carris Investments LLC acted as sole placement agent for the offering.

The securities sold by the Company in the private placement have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and may not be offered or sold absent such registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements. The Company intends to use the funds to fuel its entry into the electric vehicle market as well as to expand its operations.
