Alfa Laval wins SEK 110 million refinery order in India

Alfa Laval - a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and
fluid handling - has received an order for Alfa Laval Packinox heat
exchangers to be used in an Indian refinery. The order value is about
SEK 110 million and delivery will be finalized during 2011.

The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in a catalytic
chemical process for mixed xylene which, among other things, can be used
for production of PET bottles.
“India became our fourth largest market during the third quarter and I
expect it to become number three in the near future”, says Lars
Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “Once again our
energy-efficient Packinox heat exchangers prove their unmatched
performance for the refinery and petrochemical industries.”
