On November 1st, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) exercised the share Put option that was part of the United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. shareholders' arrangements and sold its 8.82% indirect shareholding in AS Tallinna Vesi to United Utilities Group PLC. Through its shareholding in United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. United Utilities Group PLC now has an indirect shareholding in AS Tallinna Vesi of 7,060,000 shares or 35.3% of the share capital of the company. As a result of this transaction the EBRD will no longer have any representation on the Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi. AS Tallinna Vesi has received the resignation letter of Matti Hyyrynen.
