Integral Systems' Wholly-Owned Subsidiary, SAT Corporation, Sees Increased Demand for Its Best-in-Class Interference Mitigation Solutions; Awarded More Than $3 Million in New Contracts

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and COLUMBIA, Md., Nov. 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced today that that its wholly-owned subsidiary, SAT Corporation, reports that in the fourth quarter of the Company's Fiscal Year 2010, it has received more than $3 million in new contract awards from the government, military and commercial satellite operators. The Company has also seen a sharp increase in demand for its industry-leading Monics® Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) monitoring and detection solution, and SigMon® Transportable Spectrum Monitoring and Geolocation System as it recently closed a record-breaking fiscal year on September 24.

Examples of the contract wins include:

  • Multiple SigMon system awards that will be used by military test range operators to proactively detect, geolocate and eliminate RFI sources before they result in operational issues.
  • Four additional international contracts to upgrade existing Monics systems to monitor, detect and characterize satellite interference.
  • Increase in ongoing revenue from maintenance and training contracts to ensure customers are maximizing the potential of their systems.

As a systems integrator, SAT Corporation is uniquely suited to help solve the industry's complex requirements. Unlike custom-built spectrum monitoring, detection and geolocation systems that become unsupportable soon after their development phase, SAT Corporation delivers complete, turn-key RFI mitigation systems incorporating the best modern, proven Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software and commercially-proven hardware, as well as providing continuing product support.
