Michael Jay Solomon Joins Cinsay, Inc. Board of Directors


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 7, 2010) - Media industry leader Michael Jay Solomon has joined the Board of Directors of Cinsay, Inc., the integrated media, software and e-commerce company. The announcement comes as Cinsay prepares for the tremendous growth anticipated from the company's proprietary e-commerce software and embeddable video player which provides a unique and unified solution for Internet commerce. The company has already signed e-commerce agreements with several major brands, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. Most recently, Cinsay announced agreements to drive branded product sales for Harrah's Interactive Entertainment World Series of Poker brand, as well as for The American Outdoorsman and the Chicken Soup For the Soul brand.

Michael Jay Solomon is one of the entertainment industry's most recognized and respected international entertainment executives. Solomon began his career at United Artists where he spent eight years, then spent the next fourteen years at MCA (now Universal) before co-founding Telepictures Corporation, which went on to become the industry's largest worldwide television distributor. Following Telepictures' acquisition by Warner Bros., Solomon assumed the presidency of Warner Bros. International Television, and under his direction, WBIT became the largest TV program distribution company in the world. He also created El Camino Entertainment Group, Inc. (now called Stone Canyon), the largest Midway operating company in North America. He is co-founder of HBO Ole (now HBO Latin America). He is co-Founder and President of the World Inspirational Network, and is co-Founder and Chairman of The Michelangelo Experience. Solomon is also Co-Founder and Chairman of Film Domain. He serves on the Board of Overseers of New York University's Stern School of Business (and has for 22 years), is a Founder of the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem, and was Founding Chairman of The Jerusalem Foundation of the West Coast of the United States. He attended New York University's Stern School of Business and Boston's Emerson College, and holds an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Emerson College.
