The production target for the full year 2010 has been reached already in November - gold production for the first eleven months was 22,670 ounces.


The full year forecast for the gold production was achieved already in November.
At the beginning of the third quarter gold production at Pahtavaara increased
when richer ore bodies became available for mining. The high production levels
have continued into the fourth quarter when gold grades and gold recoveries have
continued to be above plan in October and November. Due to that production
results reached levels above plan during the third quarter Lappland Goldminers
in October revised its production forecast for 2010 to a gold production of at
least 22,500 ounces (700 kgs). Lappland Goldminers is happy to announce that the
production target for 2010 could be reached already in November.

Gold production at Pahtavaara for January to November 2010 was 22,670 ounces or
705 kgs. For the corresponding period 2009 gold production was 16 675 ounces or
519 kgs. The average gold grade in the ore fed to the mill during October and
November 2010 was 2.25 grams per tonnes and the average gold recoveries in the
mill was 87.0%.
