New CEO at Skipti

Kristín Gudmundsdóttir has been appointed CEO of Skipti hf. She has worked as the company's CFO over the last eight years, during which time she has also served as deputy CEO. She will take over her new post as of today. Kristín will work closely with the company’s board of directors and owners on preparing a future strategy for Skipti which takes account of the profound changes in the operating environment of the company and other Icelandic companies. Also, Óskar Hauksson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer as of the same time.
