HAVRE DE GRACE, MD--(Marketwire - January 10, 2011) - Father Martin's Ashley, the nationally recognized private, non-profit alcoholism and drug addiction treatment center, today announced the addition of Peter H. Musser, Ph.D, as its full-time clinical psychologist and Wendy Insalaco, M.S., CAC, CCDP, as clinical supervisor. Dr. Musser and Ms. Insalaco join the clinical team now led by recently appointed clinical program director George Plesniak, ACRPS, CAC-AD, M.S.
Dr. Bernadette Solounias, M.D., vice president of treatment services at Father Martin's Ashley, commented on the addition of Dr. Musser and Ms. Insalaco: "We are thrilled to have these two outstanding professionals as part of our clinical team. Dr. Musser comes to Ashley with over 12 years of combined therapeutic, teaching and psychological research experience. He has worked as a private practice clinician and a faculty member at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland, and also supervised a program for battered persons and domestic violence prevention. Dr. Musser holds a doctorate of philosophy in human services psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Arts in general psychology with an emphasis in research methods from The Catholic University of America. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Maryland Psychological Association, American Counseling Association and the former Co-Chair of the Maryland Abuser Intervention Collaborative.

Ms. Insalaco holds a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Millersville University and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University. She is a Certified Addiction Counselor and Certified Co-occurring Disorders Professional. Prior to joining Ashley, Ms. Insalaco was director of clinical services at an addiction treatment center in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
