GERRY WEBER continues record streak
Double-digit revenue growth in November and December
The record streak of GERRY WEBER International AG continued in the first
two months of the fiscal year 2010/2011. In November and December, the
Group generated sales revenues of EUR 57.6 million, up from EUR 46.0
million in the previous year. This represents an increase by 25.2%.
The pants collection of the GERRY WEBER Edition brand showed a particularly
successful performance, with sales in this segment up by 57.2% in November
and December. 'The excellent fit of our pants perfectly matches consumers'
demands at an unusually attractive price-performance ratio,' says Raimund
Axmann, Managing Director of GERRY WEBER Edition. 'Moreover, we have
launched a shop-in-shop initiative, which will help us to further expand
our excellent market penetration in the specialist retail sector in the
current fiscal year.'
