The company will debut the fall 2011 Collection in New York City and Las Vegas in February.
The Spring Collection will be available in six Bloomingdale's stores including New York, Chicago, Short Hills, NJ, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chevy Chase, MD, as well as in dozens of Nordstrom and 150 independent boutiques. Anyi Lu, founder and designer of her eponymous luxury footwear company explains, "My spring 2011 Collection is inspired by the arid landscape and intense light of Morocco. I brought together desert tones like camel, sand and taupe with flashes of metallic. Delicate laser cut patterns and matte snake skins bring these shoes to life."
The Fall 2011 Collection will be unveiled in the ANYI LU showroom at the Bryant Park Hotel in New York City from February 1-3, 2011 and in Las Vegas, at Platform: The Shoe Show at MAGIC from February 14 -16, 2011. Anyi explains, "The Fall line is my interpretation of the retro-American classics such as penny loafers, oxfords and derbies. Tassels, abstract kilties, brass buckles and removable adornments add a freshness to American standards. They are versatile to dress up or down with familiar silhouettes from pointy-toe kitten heels to round-toe pumps. The materials selected range from distressed and oiled leathers to finishes that are supple and flawless. They offer a more natural color scheme of smoky gray, navy, sage, chestnut, dark brown and black."
