McCain's Hardwire NEMA Adaptor facilitates the conversion of a 2070 or 170 traffic signal controller into a NEMA controller that is compatible with a wide range of cabinet manufacturers. The converted controller features full I/O capability with all three NEMA TS 1 standard connectors, A, B, and C, as well as a D connector as defined in Caltrans Transportation Electrical Equipment Specifications (TEES).
The Hardwire NEMA Adaptor provides agencies with more than 75 percent cost savings by converting 2070 or 170 traffic control equipment to a NEMA cabinet compatible traffic signal controller, as opposed to the costs associated with replacing the controller cabinet.
