ALLENTOWN, PA--(Marketwire - March 2, 2011) - fiberAmerica, an innovative manufacturer of consistent, high quality and environmentally friendly cellulose fiber insulation products, today announced its "Green Seal Gives Back" donation program to provide its Green Seal cellulose product line to training centers and schools in the northeastern United States.
"We believe it is important to give back to the community and with the Green Seal Gives Back program we are making a formal commitment to our community," said David A. Johnson, president for fiberAmerica. "The training centers and schools need building materials to help provide their students with hands-on education on how to properly install products. The use of cellulose insulation is growing rapidly as a result of the increasing energy prices and the need for homes to be more energy efficient, as well as the building industry's emphasis on green building, and today's students need to be well-educated on green products like ours."
"Donations from companies like fiberAmerica are extremely important for our technical education and training programs," John Manz, director of the Weatherization Training Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology based in Williamsport, Pa. "We have been extremely pleased by the quality of fiberAmerica's Green Seal products and appreciative for what fiberAmerica has donated to our school."
Since the company opened in late 2009, fiberAmerica has donated more than 700 bags of its Green Seal products to multiple organizations, including Pennsylvania College of Technology, the Green Energy Training Center based in Allentown, Pa., and Johnson College in Scranton, Pa.
Training centers and schools that are interested in donated cellulose insulation materials should contact George Day at fiberAmerica at 877-279-1969 x 5 or george.day@fiberamerica.us for more information on the Green Seal Gives Back program.
