COR&FJA acquires a new customer in the Netherlands
Cooperatie DELA operates the COR.FJA Insurance Suite in ASP
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 2 March 2011) - The software and consulting
company COR&FJA AG has been commissioned by the Dutch mutual insurance
company Cooperatie DELA (Eindhoven) to introduce a range of components from
the COR.FJA Insurance Suite. As part of the co-operation agreement signed a
few days ago, Cooperatie DELA, one of the leading providers of funeral
costs insurance in the Benelux countries, will include a life insurance
product in its portfolio that is based on COR&FJA solutions. The contract
for this first stage of the project, which is planned to be completed in
September 2011, is in the low seven-figure range.
The administration of the new product will be delivered by Application
Service Providing (ASP) at a local infrastructure provider. COR&FJA has the
overall responsibility for the streamlined operations of the application.
All support will be delivered by the staff at the Dutch COR&FJA site in Den
Bosch. The Managing Director of the COR&FJA subsidiary COR&FJA Benelux
B.V., Rik Douwes, reported that the ASP model selected by Cooperatie DELA
had received very positive feedback from the local market, and that several
insurance companies were already showing an interest in the solution.
It was the multi-lingual and multi-currency capacities of the systems - in
addition to the integrated character of the COR.FJA Insurance Suite - that
convinced Cooperatie DELA to select COR&FJA. A further criterion was the
many decades of experience of COR&FJA with comprehensive migration and
implementation projects in complex and demanding system environments as
well their proven reliability in launching products.
The COR.FJA Insurance Suite is a cross-sector solution for insurance
companies. It composes upgradable and highly configurable standard software
components and completely covers all the relevant business processes of an
insurance company. The high-level parameterisation and the modern,
service-oriented technology mean products and processes can be quickly
adapted to react without delay to the demands of customers and markets.
The components of the COR.FJA Insurance Suite can be combined to meet
customer-specific needs, or used as stand-alone services. Other COR.FJA
modules, individual enhancements and software components from third-party
providers can be integrated via the existing standard interfaces. This
enables each customer to set up an IT environment specifically to meet its
own needs.
