Gaming Industry Invited to "Grip It and Rip It" for Research and Responsible Gaming at 13th Annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global

May 10 Event to Raise Funds for National Center for Responsible Gaming

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - The Annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global has become a yearly gathering of the who's-who of the gaming industry, as top names come together for a day of fun and fundraising. Now event organizers are inviting the industry to "grip it and rip it" at the 13th annual event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 10 at Cascata in Boulder City, Nev.

Sponsored by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) and the American Gaming Association (AGA), the 13th Annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic is a fundraiser for the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG), the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research on gambling disorders and increasing awareness about responsible gaming. Since its inception, the event has raised nearly $850,000 for the NCRG, including $100,000 last year.

This year's tournament takes place on Tuesday, May 10 at the award-winning Cascata in Boulder City, Nev. With its unrivaled design, Cascata is one of the most distinctive courses in the world.

Player reservations and sponsorship options are now available. Sponsorships range from $75 to $50,000; raffle prize donations are also being accepted. For player registration or sponsorship information, contact JCM Global at (702) 651-3472 or visit www.golf.jcmglobal.com.

"The NCRG is incredibly grateful for the continued support of the AGEM-AGA Golf Tournament, hosted by JCM Global. The money raised from this event allows the NCRG to fund groundbreaking research on pathological and youth gambling and create public education initiatives to bring research findings to those who need the information most," said Glenn Christenson, Chairman of the National Center for Responsible Gaming and Managing Director of Velstand Investments, LLC.

"The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) is thrilled to return as a title sponsor of this event," said AGEM Executive Director Marcus Prater. "Our membership around the world is keenly aware of the important research the NCRG conducts, and the vital role the NCRG plays in the industry. It is our pleasure to help advance its mission, and if we have to play golf at one of the world's premier courses to do it, then so be it."

"The NCRG is one of the most prolific sources for the science-based education programs and peer-reviewed research that drive the industry's responsible gaming efforts, and this event is an outstanding opportunity for the gaming industry to support the important work of the NCRG," said AGA President and CEO Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. "The AGA is honored to once again join with AGEM and JCM Global to put on the AGEM-AGA Golf Classic and hopes to continue this partnership far into the future."

JCM Global President Aki Isoi said, "For 13 years, we have been honored to rally the industry to help the absolutely critical work of the NCRG. We are very grateful to the support we get from our title sponsors and to everyone who participates to help make this event a success, and we look forward to welcoming the industry back to Cascata."
