LONDON, April 5, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Experienced and novice developers looking for an overview of free software technologies they can use to scratch their application itch are invited to join Canonical at its annual Ubuntu App Developer Week, presented virtually via IRC at IRC.freenode.net.
Ubuntu App Developer Week, from the 11th - 15th April, is a series of sessions that enable and inspire developers by showing off the wide variety of application development tools available on the Ubuntu platform, and showcase some applications that have already been created, explaining how they were made.
"Ubuntu App Developer Week is such a unique way to bring together an awesome community of developers to help them understand and build the apps that excite users and developers," said David Planella, Ubuntu Translations Coordinator.
