BEVERLY HILLS, CA and MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - Big Screen Entertainment Group (
In addition to filming new productions in Australia, BSEG Australia will review a variety of scripts and completed Australian films for the company to produce and distribute worldwide.
BSEG's Melbourne based office will be run by Sebet Productions CEO Lisa Campos, an Australian actor, writer and producer. Lisa has been chosen to represent CEO Kimberley Kates and BSEG due to her passion for her work, the respect she has for the craft and for her desire to develop quality films both low and high budget. Her company Sebet Productions is currently working on their horror/thriller feature film SIRENA (www.sirenamovie.com) which has already attached some well known talented cast. The highly respected crew looks to be a very popular movie and franchise.
When asked on how she thinks BSEG will benefit the Australian film industry, Lisa commented "Having a company with not only the connections, but the passion that the BSEG team has, here in Australia is going to be an amazing opportunity for independent filmmakers.
Discovering new writers, directors, producers and actors should be something that is embraced. I hope to open the door for new talent and help low budget Australian independent film to flourish and gain the worldwide recognition it so deserves. Australia is a great place to film and I would love to see more productions being made here."
