Tiedemann Wealth Management Announces Key Leadership Appointments

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2011) - Tiedemann Wealth Management is pleased to announce two strategic appointments to enhance its management. Wolfgang Traber has joined as a member of the firm's Investment Committee and James Bertles was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Tiedemann Trust Company.

Mr. Traber brings considerable experience in private equity, investment management and company stewardship to Tiedemann Wealth Management. He is currently the Chairman of Hanseatic Corporation, a global private-equity firm. He has previously held leadership positions at Deltec Securities Corporation and affiliates; he sits on a number of boards, including M.M. Warburg & Co., and is an Investment Committee member of Trilantic Capital Partners.

Mr. Bertles, who currently serves as Managing Director of Tiedemann Wealth Management, responsibilities have expanded to include his appointment to the Board of Directors of Tiedemann Trust Company, which provides trust services to the firm's clients.

Jim is involved in numerous charitable and civic activities and was recently appointed Senior Warden of Bethesda-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church.
