TRENDnet Makes Available Free Applications to View Internet Cameras on Mobile Devices

TORRANCE, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 28, 2011) - TRENDnet, a best-in-class wired and wireless networking hardware brand, today announces the availability of two free mobile applications; TRENDnet's SecurView Mobile and ProViewer solutions enable viewing of TRENDnet Internet camera streaming video from mobile devices.

Viewing security video from home or business from anywhere there is a 3G, 4G, or wireless Internet connection has never been easier. The free SecurView Mobile application is compatible with TRENDnet's SecurView line of Internet cameras, and supports Android and Mac platforms. TRENDnet's ProViewer application works with TRENDnet's ProView line of Internet cameras and supports Mac platforms.

SecurView Mobile Application
TRENDnet's SecurView Mobile application enables users to view real-time streaming video from SecurView Internet cameras. Users can quickly setup up to ten cameras, then click on a specific camera icon to view real-time camera video. This application supports two-way audio -- meaning, users can hear sounds from the camera's environment, and supporting cameras can convey sounds from the mobile user to the given camera. Users can also remotely pan and tilt compatible Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras. A useful 'Home' button returns Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras to their predefined home position.

The TRENDnet ProViewer Application enables users to view real-time streaming video from ProView branded Internet cameras. Users can quickly setup any number of cameras, then click on a specific camera icon to view real-time camera video. Video footage will automatically adjust between portrait and landscape viewing modes. Pinch the viewing screen to zoom in and out. While zoomed in, drag your finger across the screen to pan around the live video. A convenient Snapshot button immediately stores a still image to your mobile device. Users can also remotely pan and tilt compatible Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras. A useful 'Home' button returns Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras to their predefined home position.
