SAN FRANCISCO, May 9, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- YesDTC Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:YESD), a direct-to-consumer marketer and global distributor of consumer goods and products today announced it will be releasing its full report on the test results for its MotorBooster™ solid combustion chamber fuel catalyst later next week. For the past several months, the Company has been sponsoring extensive independent testing of the MotorBooster product in order to document the fuel savings and emissions reducing attributes of the newly formulated combustion chamber conditioner. Preliminary test results show at least a 15% improvement in fuel economy.
"Fuel catalysts are controversial so we want to ensure this new formulation will perform for our customers," said Christian Kirsebom, General Manager of YesDTC, Inc. He continued, "While there has been considerable research of this product category in the past, and many individuals have tested the performance of engine catalysts with very strong results, we were surprised to learn that only a few controlled tests have actually been conducted. For this reason, we recently commissioned a well known NASCAR and Winston Cup engine designer and builder to complete a full independent dynamometer test of the MotorBooster product under controlled conditions. Preliminary results were very positive, with fuel economy gains that came in at greater than 15% and emission reduction improvements that were exceptional. Next week, we will release the full report from the testing firm as well as a product briefing introducing MotorBooster for prospective customers."
MotorBooster is registered with the EPA and certified by an independent lab not to change the characteristics of the fuel. Unlike previous generations of similar technologies, the unique MotorBooster formulation is made from an organic metallicine, a compound that contains no carcinogens.
MotorBooster works by creating an oxide residue film on the hot surfaces of the combustion chamber's fire deck to facilitate or "catalyze" the combustion process in three ways. First, it enables a more even distribution of fuel within the chamber. This causes a more immediate and complete burning of all the fuel, thereby increasing fuel efficiency. Second, it inhibits the transfer of radiant heat, allowing more heat to be retained in the combustion chamber as useful energy for the actual fuel burning process. Third, it removes carbon deposits from within the fire deck and prevents the build up of new deposits, allowing the above two mentioned effects to take place more effectively.
MotorBooster joins YesDTC's growing product portfolio, which also includes the language and vocabulary building product WordSmart, hosted by Alex Trebek; MediPendant(TM), the only speak-and-listen-through-the-pendant medical alarm system; Alo Networks, an ultra-low cost mobile phone offering for the Hispanic community; and PureSleep(R) the Stop Snoring Solution.
