Technopolis Partners with Kemira on First Clean Tech Focused MoneyTalks Forum
The ninth MoneyTalks® Forum, the leading fundraising and matchmaking event by Technopolis is linking high-tech and innovation-based companies, corporations and investors. The event, organized for the first time in Tampere May 12, 2011, highlights cutting-edge technologies and solutions for clean tech and industrial sectors and B-to-B markets.
“Over a hundred attendees will participate and more than 200 pre-qualified, pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings will be held to negotiate deals for funding and partnerships and to acquire customers. The event kicks-off with keynote speeches and pitches by pre-selected companies seeking funding”, says Karita Huotari, Head of Strategic Matchmaking Services at Technopolis.
Kaj Jansson, Vice President, R&D and Technology of Kemira, MoneyTalks® Forum’s anchor partner, will share his views on what is hot in the water-intensive industries. Kemira also meets with several of the participating companies, seeking co-operation opportunities with highly skilled enterprises to complement its water chemistry and applications knowledge.
Iain Jawad, Director of Strategic Partnerships of Frost & Sullivan Europe from London will provide highly interesting insights in his keynote on Global Mega Trends that impact business, economy, society, cultures and personal lives, at an increasing pace of change.
While the event gives the companies a rare chance to efficiently pitch their business concept to many investors at one time, the opportunity is equally attractive for investors.
