With LEGO exclusive mini-build weekends and family access to the amazing world of science at Arizona Science Center, Native American Family Exploration Camps with our partners at The Phoenix Herpetological Society, our four swimming pools, a huge waterslide and Cinema Splash, a retreat with us is sure to become your entire family's most memorable summer vacation. For our acclaimed LEGO mini-build weekends, now in their fourth year, we will be joined by an expert from the LEGO® Store at Chandler Fashion Center to lead a weekend workshop for a limited number of guests.
This special engagement was designed for young guests to have a hands-on experience with guidance from LEGO experts. Kids will learn the best assembly techniques and walk away with a unique LEGO mini-build model (a LEGO BBQ grill in June and a LEGO Watermelon in July), each an exclusive for this event, with the date and location engraved. In addition, the LEGO event will host an exclusive, small-scale 3-D emerging model building experience at each session. Offered twice, June 17 -19 (Father's Day weekend) and again on July 22-24 with rates from $115 per night, families receive:
• one night in a luxurious guestroom (Friday check-in)
• access for two children into the LEGO mini-build workshop (Sat -10am -2pm)
• two LEGO welcome amenities
• a $10 LEGO gift-card
• a 2-year LEGO Club Membership

• access for two children and two adults to Arizona Science Center
• a $25 Aji Spa gift certificate, per adult, valid for use on a-la-carte spa services the entire weekend
Each participating family is welcome to enter additional children into the mini-build workshop, if paid in advance and up to class capacity, for $15 per child.
For our second installation of summer adventure we are bringing in Amil Pedro, an esteemed Maricopa artisan and modern-day Indiana Jones, for two inspiring weekends of culture. This special engagement was designed for young guests to work closely with Pedro, who still serves on the Sheriff's Posse/Search Unit assisting in desert rescue efforts. Utilizing their "tracker packs," a camouflage backpack that they will receive upon check-in containing: a compass, a bandana, a CSI engraved pencil, a note pad and their very own keepsake "CSI- Cultural Scene Investigator" t-shirt, Pedro will lead them on an exploration into the surrounding environment, focusing on plants, animals, ancient ways of life and desert tracking skills. Following that, he will lead a two-hour arts and crafts session where young guests will have the opportunity to make beaded lanyards, arrowheads using ancient flint-knapping methods and practice feather wrapping.
In addition to the tracking workshop, The Phoenix Herpetological Society, will also be on-site with an exhibit showcasing reptiles indigenous to the Sonoran desert. Teaching youth that, "conservation begins with education" the exhibit provides guests with a hands-on learning experience and opportunities to photograph, touch and even hold some of the reptiles. We are fully committed to the safety and well-being of our guests surrounding this event and for that reason any species that could be potentially dangerous will be showcased through glass cases only. Offered twice, June 10-12 and again on July 29-31 with rates from $119 per night, families receive:
- one night in a luxurious guestroom (Friday check-in)
- access for two children into the culture-tracking workshop (Saturday)
- two "tracker pack" welcome amenities
- a $25 Aji Spa gift certificate, per adult, valid for use on any a-la-carte spa service the entire weekend
Each participating family is welcome to enter additional children into the culture-tracking workshop complete with the "tracker-pack", if paid in advance, for $20 per child.
