YORK, PA--(Marketwire - May 26, 2011) - Mergon Automotive, of Castlepollard, Ireland, recently accepted delivery of yet another Graham Engineering Corporation (GEC) accumulator head blow molding machine.
This Graham Model GEC-7460 dual head blow molding machine included a 6 inch smooth bore extruder with 300 HP AC controls, dual 20-lb. series heads, Graham Engineering's proprietary XBM Navigator™ PC controls, and a 74x60 in. press with pre-pinch and 190 tons of clamping force. Special features included an extra long (144 inch or 3.65 m) stroke part takeout mechanism, as well as a remote operator station on wheels. The machine is programmed for robot sequencing by Graham with Mergon designed and installed robotic systems. This CE compliant machine is located in Mergon's manufacturing facility in Castlepollard, Ireland.
