SKOKIE, IL--(Marketwire - May 26, 2011) - NanoInk's® NanoFabrication Systems Division is pleased to announce that it will exhibit and give four presentations at the 2011 TechConnect World Conference and Expo, presented by the Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI) and the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI). The conference will be held from Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Mass. TechConnect World is a unique combination of five interconnected conferences focused on technology commercialization: Clean Technology, Nanotech, BioNano, MicroTech and the TechConnect Summit.
Dr. Ruby Lam, an applications scientist at NanoInk, will give a presentation titled, "Rapid, Flexible Prototyping of Cellular Scaffolds," on Tuesday, June 14, at 3:30 p.m. in room 206. The presentation will demonstrate a methodology for the placement of nano- to micro-sized topographical and biochemical features with nanoscale precision by tip-based lithography. More information about Dr. Lam's presentation is available at: http://www.techconnectworld.com/World2011/a.html?i=785.
Jason Haaheim, a senior R&D engineer at NanoInk, will give a presentation titled, "Advances in Direct-Write Nanoscale Deposition and Patterning," on Wednesday, June 15, at 1:50 p.m. in room 103. The presentation will demonstrate the capability of Dip Pen Nanolithography® (DPN®) to generate large areas of homogenous nanopatterns. More information about Haaheim's presentation is available at: http://www.techconnectworld.com/World2011/a.html?i=3062.
Dr. Jae-won Jang, an applications scientist at NanoInk will give a presentation titled, "Sub-Wavelength Metal Nanostructure Fabrication by Parallel Dip-Pen Nanolithography," on Thursday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. in room 103. The presentation will demonstrate the low cost and convenient scale-up fabrication method for metal nanostructures using Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN). More information about Dr. Jang's presentation is available at: http://www.techconnectworld.com/World2011/a.html?i=1222.
Sergey Rozhok, a senior research engineer at NanoInk, will have a poster on display in the Expo Hall throughout the conference titled, "High-throughput multiplex protein analysis for limited sample size on a single slide." The poster demonstrates how Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN) allows parallel printing of hundreds of molecules over an area that is 100 times smaller than that of conventional microarray formats and uses significantly fewer materials. More information about Rozhok's poster is available at: http://www.techconnectworld.com/World2011/a.html?i=1364.
NanoInk will also exhibit at booth #1818 where its NLP 2000 desktop nanofabrication system will be available for demonstrations. The NLP 2000 system allows researchers to rapidly design and create custom engineered and functionalized surfaces on the micro and nanoscale, using Dip Pen Nanolithography to transfer minute amounts of materials over a large, environmentally controlled work area.
TechConnect World has become the largest venue for emerging technology development and commercialization in the world. The conference is expected to draw over 5,000 attendees from over 70 countries, across major industry segments and along the technology path from research to implementation. The exposition, which features several international pavilions, is expected to host more than 400 companies, universities, equipment manufacturers and solutions providers. These exhibitors will meet with thousands of prospects and potential buyers, who come to the expo to evaluate the latest technology and services.
