SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 6, 2011) - Ingram Micro Inc. (
In this role, Wiser reports directly to Keith Bradley, senior executive vice president and president of Ingram Micro's North America region. He replaces John Soumbasakis who was appointed in April to senior vice president and president Latin America and reports to Greg Spierkel, CEO, Ingram Micro.
Ingram Micro's Specialty Solutions Division is comprised of a unique set of higher-margin organizations and investments including Data Capture/POS; consumer electronics subsidiaries IMCE and AVAD; and the Ingram Micro Mobility and Physical Security business units, as well as Securematics.
Brian brings tremendous experience to this role, having served Ingram Micro and its channel partners for more than two decades. Most recently, he was senior vice president of the Commercial, Direct and Consumer Markets Divisions for Ingram Micro North America. In addition to leading the sales, vendor management and marketing resources that comprise these divisions, Brian was also responsible for channel marketing, licensing and the region's vertical market strategy.
"Brian has a proven track record of driving profitable revenue growth, increasing market share, delivering innovative programs and services, and expanding strategic relationships with our partners," said Bradley. "We are confident he will bring the same results-focused approach to our Specialty Solutions Division as we seek to hit aggressive targets and further diversify our business into higher-margin, higher-value growth areas."
The Ingram Micro North American executive team is extremely strong and backed by a talented base of associates who will continue to execute and succeed. Wiser's previous duties will be assumed by Kirk Robinson, vice president and general manager, Commercial Markets Division, and Tim Ament, vice president and general manager, Direct and Consumer Markets Division, both reporting to Paul Bay, executive vice president, Ingram Micro North America.
