Corel Launches Free Service Pack for VideoStudio Pro X4

Corel today released a free performance enhancement pack for Corel^(R) VideoStudio^(R) Pro X4 that yields groundbreaking speed and functionality. By optimizing for the latest developments in chipset technology of the 2^nd generation Intel^(R) Core^(TM) processor family, Service Pack 1 boosts the overall performance of X4 to even greater levels, making the video editing experience smoother, faster and even more enjoyable for users.

Reflecting the growing dominance of AVCHD, Corel is dedicated to delivering maximum results for these workflows. Internal benchmarking has shown speed increases of 206% in SD MPEG-2 to HD H.264 transcode scenarios and similar gains in other H.264 user scenarios*.
