SENA Announces the Appointment of Previous Oracle Enterprise Architect Steven Sommer as Director, E2.0 Practice

EDISON, NJ--(Marketwire - Jun 16, 2011) - SENA Systems, an aurionPro company business unit, today announced the appointment of Steven Sommer to the position of Director, E2.0 Practice.

Prior to joining SENA Systems, Steven was an Oracle Enterprise Architect - E2.0 Specialist with Oracle Consulting. Steven was responsible for working with Oracle customers to define solutions that bring value to their businesses, which included leading discovery engagements, creating solution hypothesis, designing the architecture, and sizing the system components. Steven was further responsible for documenting and estimating the professional services required to successfully implement the solutions and transitioning the project to the delivery teams.

Steven joined Oracle by way of the Stellent acquisition, where he was Chief Technical Architect in Stellent's consulting organization. Prior to Stellent, Steven worked steadily with Fortune 500 manufacturing companies on approaches to integrating existing systems with their Product Data Management (PDM) systems.

Steven has been a regular speaker at user conferences, industry conferences, and tech days as an evangelist for the value of E2.0 capabilities. Steven also authored a technical white paper on the approaches to instance architectures for Oracle UCM and related products.

Steven will continue to be based in Minneapolis, where he lives with his wife and four sons.
