LogMeIn's join.me Named Best Professional Software at Macworld UK Awards

LONDON and WOBURN, Mass., June 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:LOGM) simple screen sharing service, join.me, was named Best Professional Software at the 2011 Macworld Awards in London. The prestigious annual event recognizes excellence across all areas of Mac-related products, from professional tools, to top consumer gadgets and Apple's own offerings.

Introduced in October 2010, join.me is a drop-dead simple screen sharing product designed for online meetings and ad hoc, 'show-and-tell' collaboration. The service offers free screen sharing and online meetings for both personal and commercial use for up to 250 participants — no registration, plug-ins or accounts required.  A 'pro' version of the service with extended functionality is available for a monthly or annual subscription.

"The support and overwhelming positive feedback from the media and users alike has proven to be invaluable to join.me's evolution and growth over the past eight months. The notion of simplicity, speed and impromptu collaboration has really resonated with users, who have adopted join.me  for activities well beyond those typically reserved for online meeting software," said Kevin Bardos, vice president of Collaboration Technologies for LogMeIn. "We're incredibly appreciative to be recognised by the Macworld team and readership for this distinct honour."
