VICKSBURG, MS--(Marketwire - Jul 13, 2011) - The Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced its Vicksburg Antebellum Experience Sweepstakes, a giveaway with a grand prize of two days and nights of exploring the food and culture of historic Vicksburg, "The Key to the South."
The Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau seeks to highlight its antebellum roots with classic Southern recipes and culture. Winners of the Antebellum Experience Sweepstakes will explore Vicksburg's storied antebellum history and architecture and get a taste for its rich culinary scene at local restaurants.
The two-day Vicksburg Antebellum Experience includes a guided artwork tour of the Vicksburg National Military Park, one of the most distinguished outdoor art gardens in the United States and two collectible Vicksburg Cookbooks, Ambrosia and Vintage Vicksburg, full of authentic Southern recipes.
Winners will also be treated to two nights of rest and relaxation at the antebellum bed and breakfast of their choice and dinner for two at any two Vicksburg signature restaurants.
Entries will be accepted until August 31, 2011, and the winner will be randomly selected from all received entries on September 1, 2011.
