Per Åkerberg appointed new President and CEO of ReadSoft

ReadSoft's Board of Directors has after a thorough recruitment process,
appointed Per Åkerberg the new President and CEO of ReadSoft. He
currently holds the equivalent position at the listed company Enea AB.
Per Åkerberg will take up his new position no later than in January
2012. Jan Andersson will remain President and CEO until Per Åkerberg is
installed.

Per Åkerberg is 45 years old and holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Mittuniversitetet in Sundsvall where he
graduated in 1990. Per is since 2009 the President and CEO of the listed
company Enea, which he joined in 2004. Per started as the President of
Enea's subsidiary Embedded Technology and was in 2006 appointed Chief
Operating Officer of the Enea Group. Per has been a member of Enea's
executive management team during his time in the company.
Per worked for the software company Telelogic between 1999 and 2004
where he held a number of managerial positions. Per was during his first
three years at Telelogic stationed in North America and held, among
others, the position as Vice President of Corporate and National
Accounts, and he was also a member of Telelogic's Market Division
Americas' management team. In 2002, Per was appointed Senior Vice
President of Telelogic's market area for the Nordic countries and
Central Europe, and was stationed in both Stockholm and in Munich. Per
worked the first nine years of his career at Telia where he advanced to
a senior position at Telia Megacom.
Per Åkerberg does not presently own any shares in ReadSoft. The Board of
Directors of ReadSoft has the intention to offer Per Åkerberg to
subscribe for at most 500,000 convertible debentures in ReadSoft with a
term of not less than three years and subject to conditions which also
in other respects essentially will be congruent with ReadSoft's latest
convertible debenture program for key employees adopted at the Annual
General Meeting in May 2011. In addition, the Board of Directors of
ReadSoft will propose that Per Åkerberg shall be offered to purchase, at
market price, at most 66,000 of the company's repurchased shares of
series B. The Board of Directors has the intention to at a later date
convene an extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting for resolutions on the
offers to Per Åkerberg and will in the notice to the Meeting present the
detailed terms further.

profitability to record profits for several quarters. Per has extensive
international experience from being stationed abroad for many years in

very satisfying that Jan Andersson, co-founder of ReadSoft and our
current President and CEO, will remain in the ReadSoft Group as a member
of the Board of Directors working part time. Jan will thus be available
to the Group on issues relating to the market, acquisitions and
