HILLEGOM, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - Jul 18, 2011) - With a history laden by firsts and milestones, Gaming Laboratories International, LLC has received the first accreditation from the Polish Ministry of Finance to provide independent gaming testing to Poland. The testing services began July 1 and are being conducted by GLI Europe and GLI Austria, the first labs of their kind authorized to test casino and street market gaming equipment and perform field inspections for the same devices for Poland.
"We are very pleased with the support given to GLI by the Ministry of Finance and Customs Service Department during the certification process," said GLI Austria Managing Director Heinz Winkelbauer. "It was a pleasure for our team to work with the regulators writing new technical standards to govern this market. We look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with the government of Poland and wish them much success."
GLI has been active in Europe for more than 15 years, working with both suppliers and regulators. Now this first-of-its-kind authorization is an important development in Eastern Europe, a region seen as having gaming markets that are quickly evolving as newer technology is deployed into these markets.
GLI Europe has opened a branch office in Krakow. The contact information for the new office is:
