Attorney Greg Steube Joins Becker & Poliakoff in Sarasota

Gregory Steube has joined the firm in the Business Litigation practice group in the Sarasota office.

An experienced litigation attorney, Mr. Steube focuses his practice in the areas of Government Law, Real Estate litigation, Corporate and Commercial litigation, Condominium and Homeowner litigation, Probate litigation, and Family law. Mr. Steube is a former member of the U.S. Army JAG Corps where he served as criminal Trial Counsel, Chief of Detainee Operations, Legal Assistance Attorney, and Administrative law Attorney.

Mr. Steube is an elected member of the Florida House of Representatives serving House District 67, which includes the counties of Sarasota, Manatee and Hillsborough and is one of the largest districts in the State of Florida in both size and population. He serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the Select Committee on Water Policy. He is also a member of the Civil Justice Subcommittee, Energy & Utilities Subcommittee and Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee.

Born and raised in Bradenton, Mr. Steube is active in several professional and community organizations including: The Federal Bar Association; Manatee County Bar Association; Sarasota County Bar Association; Manatee County Chamber of Commerce; Veterans of Foreign Wars; and the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. He is a member of the Honorary Committee for the Florida BRAIVE Fund at the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.

Mr. Steube received his undergraduate and JD Degrees from the University of Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004. He is a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame.
